Llansteffan Beach
Are you looking for golden sands and great views ? Then head to Llansteffan.
Depending on the tide you can walk down and around the castle, so you can make this walk as long or short as you like.
Even with the tide in there is so much space you can walk multiple dogs and have plenty of room. I have very fit dogs, they do like when allowed charge about at speed. This beach especially at dusk is ideal as there are so few people there and there is vast open space that you can easily avoid others whilst giving your dogs the opportunity to have a good run.
The views of Bury Port and the Castle make a beautiful back drop to watching you dogs have the time of their lives.
Go careful as the sand can get soft in places and the water is not safe for human swimming.
There are three retail outlets selling beach items, coffees, ice creams and fish and chips. What else could you need!!
If the tide is out you can head round the head land to Scott's Bay, check the tide information at the car park. It's beautiful cove that feels like a private beach.
Part of the Beach is Dog free during May 1st - September 30th. However, there is plenty of dog friendly parts all year round.
